I recommend the gardens with the nice hammocks and rabbits! Also the lovely resting aeria with all the cozy pillows is the best resting aeria I've seen. Then of course all the sauna's are very nice. It often gets busy, but because the building and gardens are nice and spacious it's not a problem. Very good food as well.

I guess most of the employees are writing good appraisals, because when i got to visit this sauna it was No Good! Bad employees and service, bad food. Don't want to sound to negative but i expected a lott more!

I was able to get a tram from the marine museum, past the central railway station, and on to Schiedam and the park. I was using a Rotterdam welcome card that I could use on the trams bus or metro. I bought this 3 day pass at a tourist office I think for €15. You know you are near the park when you pass under the motorway and you pass a barrier. The park is on your right. As you enter the park keep right, past a public swimming pool, Thermen Holiday is down on your right. The complex opens at 11am, you can hire your towel, robe flip-flops,that came to €16.50 and the entrance fee was €29.50. The staff spoke perfect english, however the web site and the signs are in dutch. Togs were not allowed. The complex has a lot of saunas, steam rooms, various pools, a restaurant, a cinema (within a sauna), a garden. I was expecting a lot of noise pollution but due to good foliage this was not a problem. I found the staff to be professional and the complex to be well kept
The restaurant charged me €15 for 3 iced teas and a panini.

Read about this on Trip Adviser ...this is the perfect way to end a holiday...for the price of about 22 euro's you can spend the entire day chilling out in about 15 different saunas, numerous hot tubs/ Jacuzzies a steam room and also the chill out room...imagine 100 0r so pillows pilled up ..relaxing on top ...winner!!!
never tried any treatments so cannot comment.
The dining ....18 euros for a rib -eys steak that would put most Michelin star restaurants to shame

Just visited Thermen Holiday Sauna in Schiedam Nieuwland outside of Rotterdam and have to agree with previous posts that have complimented this facility. It offers one of the most extensive sauna landscapes in Europe (14 saunas, plus pools, jacuzzis, steam rooms) and beauty and massage services. The entry fee is a reasonable 29 euros and you can stay as long as you like, generally from 10am to 11pm.

I would like to clarify the directions for getting there. Schiedam Nieuwland lies just north of Rotterdam. If you are traveling from the north (e.g., Amsterdam or Haarlem), take the train to Schiedam Centrum and then transfer to Schiedam Nieuwland (about 3 minutes away). As you exit the station at Schiedam Nieuwland, you should be on Spoor 1 (Track 1). Go down the stairs and follow the main road away from the station on the Spoor 1 side. There is a tram stop a block away on the next corner, which has a good map for orientation; you can pay the attendant 2.50 euros if you prefer to take the tram instead of walk. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station to Prinses Beatrixlaan. You'll see signs directing you to Thermen Holiday Sauna as you approach Prinses Beatrixlaan.
