“Nice, beautiful, good facilities and fun for kids and all ages”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

We spent a few hours here. I was very impressed with the detailing of all the exhibits. One can spend a lot more time here if they are interested. Football section was impressive as well.

“Glory days are over”
Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

Although new interactive things were added to the park in recent years, our visit was dissapointing. Quite a few of the exhibits (especially the ones in or with water) were outdated and/or broken. Not nice to look at. I expected more.

“Happy childhood memories”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

This visit brought back many happy childhood memories. Certainly worth the wait in the long line with visitors. Lots of fun, but don't go when it rains.

“I expected more”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Very good miniaturs but I expected more activities especially for the price. They also only accept online orders from a very limited amount of countries but you can ask for the especial @ the ticket window if you were not "lucky enough" to be from the chosen countries...

“see the best of Dutch architecture in a day (or be a child again)”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

I'm Dutch. I live here in the Hague. I still enjoy Madurodam after maybe 8 visits in my life. It is a scale model of all the highlights of Dutch architecture and culture. See the harbours, waterworks, cities, churches old and new architecture in an overview. Including driving cars, boats and trains travelling. Experiment yourself with sluices and stuff, all in small. In the evenings with enchanting lights. You can't help being a kid yourself again. There is something to it for kids and adults as well. Rather unique I guess, in the world. Makes me proud to be a Dutchman eh eh :). Don't miss this, especially on a family holiday, it makes everyone happy on a dreary day. From the centre of the city easily reachable by tram nr 9, towards Scheveningen, say 5 minutes.
