What a beautiful retro arcade, amazing architecture. And a lot of shops like Apple, some fashion stores, high street style labels.

The Passage is one of Europe's oldest covered shopping streets. Timeless and decorated for Christmas, it is the home of Apple, and a wonderful pen store (Akermann's), and many different clothing stores. You can always find something unique or special in this special place.

Elegant architecture and a good range of shops. It's easy to walk past this long arcade as there isn't a huge frontage, look out for the white neon sign overhead. Good range of shops, at the higher end of the scale.

The Passage, close to the Binnenhof, is one of the oldest covered shopping complexes in Europe. The architecture and layout are definitively interesting. But, unfortunately, the selection of shops and businesses is a far cry from the luxury offerings from days long gone, when there was even a hotel "Du Passage". Now, the anchor in the center of the complex is an Apple Store (don't confuse expensive and luxury), supplemented by overpriced and a bit grubby coffee dispenseries and eateries. The Passage is interesting to look at, but avoid visiting the shops.

If you go by bike you can park your bike at the Biecieklette Buitenhof, this is free of charge and guarded.
Passage is really nice looking and covered with nice places to shop. However not all the shops are in the interest of a family. Lot of diverse shops so it is quite simple to pass 80% of the shops. Good spot to have a coffee or lunch, couple of lunchrooms and don't forget the little alley you pass halfway. There you can have lunch too quite nicely. Apple store is big for The Hague standards, however liked the bookstore before more. That is a personal opinion. The girls are not really attracted to one of the shops, I am sorry to say, they like shopping, but we only use the Passage as a shortcut to the Biecieklette...
