Rooms are fine and very clean. All neccessary facilities are there. The location is a little bit outside city centre. We had some problems with checking in and out. Central desk was manned by one lady both times, and it took quite some time to checkin and out.

We visited this 4-stars hotel during a long weekend from 1-4 july 2011. It is a 19-stocks building situated one tram stop behind the central train station or a 10-min. walk. When you decide to take the tram take line 3 or 4 of the Regio Rail in the direction of Zoetermeer. The hotel is surrounded by other huge buildings of several international companies (business district). When you travel by car and you wish to avoid the high parking costs, go to the P&R Hoornwijck parking at the Laan van ‘s-Gravenmade (€2 till €4 a day) and take tram 15 into the city centre and leave the traim at the central train station. If you return the same day to the parking 4 persons travel for free, if you do not return the same day only the way to the inner city is for free.
Entering the hotel you see a large hall with a sitting corner and 3 elevators. Staff is very kind and helpful. Check in/check out went very smoothly.
We occupied room 1412 which is a very large one with a huge double bed (box-spring) and an excellent mattress. The room is completely soundproofed and you do not hear other guests or the traffic outside. The air conditioner makes hardly any noise but does not cool enough by far, so we opened our window at night. The room has a writing desk, a small table at both sides of the bed, an old-fashioned TV (channels in different languages), a mini-bar, a safe, and a linen cupboard. The room is sparingly lighted. The bathroom is rather large too, and has a bath tub with a perfect shower (very good water pressure in spite of the 14th. floor). There are all kind of amenities even a heated mirror. The bathroom has a separated toilet. It is all impeccable clean.
The very large breakfast room with a large sitting corner and bar is on the first floor where an excellent warm/cold buffet-breakfast is served. One can have several kinds of bread and deluxe rolls, sweeties, meat and cheese products, juices, etc. even Spanish sparkling wine (Cava). We once had diner there, which was very good too. Where can you taste 4 kinds of white wine before ordering a bottle? Great service. Here too staff is very kind.
All in all a very good experience. Through weekendcompany we got a 3=2 offer (including breakfast) which makes the price very acceptable.
Tip: visit restaurant Dekxels, Denneweg 170, Den Haag. You will enjoy a perfect meal.

Check in was smooth, but the reception desk can be hit and miss at different times. The room was well designed but on the smaller side, but comfortable. Breakfast was very good with huge selections of food but at certain time it was very busy and not enough sitting area for all guests. The location of the hotel was outside of central downtown but the train station was a few steps away allowing quick access to public transportation. Overall a good choice for business stay or quick weekend getaway (very good rate on weekend promotion).

We got a great promotion in the NH website offering the hotel + breakfast. And We were not disapointed. The hotel was confortable and the service was excellent. Everything we asked, we got it! First day, we woke up late for breakfast ( jet -lag) and called the restaurant. They waited about 30 minutes after their time to serve us, no problem. We had a car, so it was very convenient to visit the cities and attractions around...all about 30 - 40 minutes away. - by car.
Parking was 15 euros a day ( in and out privileges). Front desk said we could not park in the streets around. There is a small grocery store about 10 min walk. I would definetely recommend.

Its a nice place close to the tram which takes you directly into the city/ train station. The staff was nice and served us dinner even though they were already closing the kitchen. The decor was great and the rooms were a bit small but so perfectly planned out that it was comfortable anyways. All NH hotels have free Wifi in the lobby but its 17.95euros/ 24 hours for internet in the room.
