This romantic residence has only four suites which are all decorated with wonderful taste. Franz and Petra take care for their guests like their own family. Breakfast in the family living room is rich and delicious that you can't hardly taste all the excellent dishes. Their are moire than helpful in all your needs. The situation of the hotel is out of city center and difficult to find. A precise map in the rooms would be helpful.

Just off the plane, picked up a rental car and drove to this small hotel / B&B which proved to be perfect for us. We were welcomed by the owners who, over coffee, introduced to the city, gave us maps and suggestions, offered the use of their bikes and then showed us our room. A lovely large king-bedded suite overlooking the little park with sunshine streaming in the massive windows and a little balcony where I took my morning coffee while watching the parade of cyclists that make up rush-hour traffic in Den Haag. Our suite had a superb bed, a massive bathroom kitted out in the latest European styles - functional and gorgeous. We were never more than a few minutes from anything in Den Haag, enjoyed walking and only got lost a few times. That was part of the fun! Folks went out of their way to help us even when we hadn't yet concluded that we needed their advice - but we did - and they gave great advice on where to eat, how to manage parking meters, walking directions and more. This was an excellent way to start our NL vacation - we'd go back in a heartbeat!

This suite is up a curving staircase and there is no elevator so if hiking upstairs doesn't work for you, don't plan to stay here.

We recently stayed at the Residenz and the reviews are true. Our room was very large by European standards complete with a gas fireplace that came in handy in August due to an unusual cold spell. Frank and Petra were great hosts. Frank even passed on evening with friends to arrange for a dinner to be catered in when he could not get us a reservation at the restaurant. All in all a good stay. Great location within walking distance of some nice restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and the tram. Do not hesitate to stay here. It is a cozy place of good value!

You've read the reviews, you've looked at their website now all you have to do is book it! This has to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Frank and Petra are fantastic hosts and the room was amazing. Spotless and with all the facilities you need. Parked at the front door (10 Euros overnight) and walked into town, great meal at Maximes, got lost on the way back despite the map but people are helpful. Used the tram the next day, much simpler. Go on, you know you want to, so just go.

Stayed here with family (we occupied all 4 rooms); it was a good choice for us. Close to a few good places to eat and to the tram line as well as a small grocery store and a great bakery! The neighbourhood felt very safe even for our daughters to head out on their own.
The other reviews cover most of what I would say: very spacious accomodations with great beds, lots of room to relax, nice bathrooms, good breakfast and delicious coffee maker in the room. The picures are a true representation. The only other thing to note is that the rooms are all upstairs (one or two steep flights - see the photo on their website) in case you have mobility issues.
Frank & Petra were most helpful and really went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Don't hesitate - Book it and go!
PS The Hague is lovely.
