I stayed in this hotel for three nights. I agree with other reviews in that the house is absolutely beautiful, really nice decoration, clean, beautiful area. Close to the tram that takes you to the city centre.
However, I found the owners a bit odd. Travelling on my own I tried to make a bit of conversation, but there was none of it. Awckward breakfast experience eating on my own in someone's (beautiful) living room, with them around but no speaking to me. The day I was leaving there were no words either, I just assumed I had to leave the keys on the table and go...Not very friendly, the whole experience a bit strange.
But if you go with your partner or friends you may really enjoy it.

We spent two nights in Residenz and really enjoyed it. We were greeted by Frank with a coffee and some explanations about the city after our 2 hour drive. The room was very large, nicely decorated and had a seating area with fire place and television. The only negative point is that the bed consists of 2 mattresses, while we would have preferred one. The bathroom (separate bath and shower) was also quite large and had everything we needed. We ordered the love arrangement (roses and champagne) and they set it up when we got back from dinner (we gave them a call so the champagne would still be cold). In the morning, we had breakfast downstairs (you can also have it in the room) and it was very good: different kinds of bread, cheese, meat, fresh fruit salade, orange juice and eggs (made to order, so you choose what you want). We will certainly return on our next trip to Den Hague.

I can only echo the many other satisfied reviewers. We spent four nights here over the Easter weekend, and were upgraded to the Deluxe Suite, which was a lovely surprise. The room was great, with comfortable bed, a chic bathroom, nice furnishings, balcony (ideal for my smoking partner) and, best of all, a gas log fire, which made the room feel very cozy - most welcome given the unseasonably cold weather.

Frank and Petra were perfect hosts. We arrived quite late on the Thursday evening, but they managed to persuade a local restaurant to stay open past 10pm for us, which was a relief as restaurants in The Hague tend to close quite early. They also made other helpful recommendations of things to see and places to eat over the rest of the weekend. Breakfast was good too and individually prepared.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Residenz. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Residenz for 6 nights and it was a great replacement for my own apartment which is rented out long term. I was looking for comfortable accommodation with a fire place and space to just be. The room was very spacious with comfortable chairs in front of the fire place, a good dining table and a modern bathroom. Just perfect. Petra and Frank make every effort to make it a great experience and to make you feel pampered.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was our first visit to The Hague.

Due to roadworks, our SatNav took us around in circles but eventually we arrived. Street parking was easy to find and only charged overnight from 6pm. The hotel sorts out the ticket and you pay on departure.

We were greeted by Frank and Petra who went through the room and amenities. They even gave us a recommendation for dinner.

As it is still Winter, the hotel was not full and we were upgraded to the beautiful room number 1. Ee were happy as it was on the first floor and there is no lift.

The room was a delight. Every detail has been thought of including the remote controlled fireplace. They even have a small cellar if you wish a bottle of wine. We couldn't resist having a bottle in front of the fireplace before dinner.

We were late for breakfast the next morning which was not a problem and was made to our order.

The hotel is walking distance, 20 minutes, from the centre of town and a pleasant, level walk.

All in all a beautiful hotel, every details thought of and delightful and informative hosts.

Room Tip: Room 1 was large and airy and is on the first floor.

We stayed for two night last week and it was everything the other reviews have said. Beautiful house in a quiet area of The Hague, parking right outside, helpful and pleasant owners, stunning huge room with remote control gas log fire, amazingly comfortable bed, lovely big bathroom with all amenities, superb breakfast and Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Everything you could want for a top end B&B.
