First the bad side: the service. The worst issue was when the waiter took two wines glasses from in front of the customers at the table next to us and transferred their glasses to our table! I just can't believe that is acceptable in any fine restaurant let alone a 2 star! Other minor issues - we had to ask for water twice and it wasn't until the 3 amuse bouche that they actually deigned to give us some water. I think it was punishment for not getting their champagne to start. And they didn't give us any matching wines until moments before the first course was served. They also slowed us down to match the pace of the other tables (as we only got 4, not 5 courses). A bit irritating. The food was good, but a bit "trying to hard to be innovative" in my opinion. And there were two fails - the marinated mackerel still had the skin attached and you couldn't cut through it. We (and many others) returned the plate with the skin still on it. The rhubarb with the dessert hadn't been softened enough and it couldn't be cut either. In addition to the 2 star cost, we had to pay 60euro in taxi fares each way from CBD. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this - there are so many other great restaurants that don't charge you 2 star prices.
