Good avarage hotel with exellent location just next to train station and in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The comfort rooms are good and lots of space - very clean and in good condition. Bathrooms also good space and good condition. No noice reduction in windows, so there can be a bit noice from the street, but it is a quiet street, so it is not an issue. Breakfast not worth paying extra for, but if it is included, it is alright.

We went as a group and booked 5 rooms. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Only minus is the poor strength of the wifi. You had to leave the room to get best reception. And a bit of advice: stay away from the 07 and 08 rooms as you will be bothered but the staircase door being slammed on a regular basis.

Stayed in this hotel for a bachelorette in June 2013. The rooms were ok but there was one major drawback. We arrived in the hotel and the receptionist was somewhat slow and not overly friendly. When we got to the rooms (there were 3 in total) 2 of the rooms were fine but one had the smell of sewer. We complained about this to reception, but were told that they have this problem more often with rooms in this column. I wonder why they wait for us to notice this ourselves in stead of solving the problem - or not rent out the room. After our discussion, the receptionist came up and aired the (bath)room. There was no sign of smell afterwards - so that was ok - otherwise we wouldnt have been able to sleep in the room. The hotel is not easily found on satnav as the whole area seems to be under construction. Breakfast was ok.

Room Tip: Do not pick the rooms in the 311 column

Dear Madam,

Thank you for your feedback. Your comments are very valuable as they enable us to monitor the quality of our services.

We apologize for the comments and behavior of the receptionist. Apparently the receptionist on duty has not expressed himself properly.
We do have, in some rooms, sewage problems but on an irregular basis and we are working on these issues. Also the flow of traffic in the streets in the Diamond Quarter has recently changed by the City Council and this causes a lot of confusion for our guests and their navigation systems.

In case you decide to come to Antwerp again, we would be glad to offer you a 50% discount on your room as a gesture of goodwill.

Once again, thank you for your comments which will be followed up by the manager and his staff and we look forward to welcome you again in one of our Different Hotels.

With Different regards

This hotel was really good, the staff were really helpful when we asked where to go in Antwerp. The room was clean, the beds were big, bathrooms were easy to use.

They even allowed us to check in early when we got to the room early.

Good central location

The room was a bit noisy because we were close to the lift but nothing too irritating, only incident was that the house keeping came into the room even after we'd said that we were still sleeping and didn't want to be disturbed, but it was nothing major.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Stay away from the lift

If you are planning to have a trip around Belgium and Holland, Antwerp is a nice city to stay. With this hotel you can guarantee yourself a pleasant and restful stay.
If you are with a family you should carefully investigate the charges for additional bed if you need such.

Great location for restaurants, bars and sight-seeing. Large minimalist bedroom, comfortable bed, small grubby bathroom with basic amenities, thin walls, tiny elevator, bedroom garbage left in hallway, basic breakfast. No evening/lunch dining. Some reception staff helpful, others not. House-keeping staff seem to work few hours. Parking in adjacent multi-storey, my sat nav had numerous one-way streets the wrong way round.
