Shabby hostel. Does need renovation and a firm lick of paint. The proprietors do not care for the hostel very much. In the morning they do not remove empty beerbottles from public tables, a map on the wall is torn, that sort of things. They are friendly, but don't have the right attitude towards tourists. Tabletennis and internet are being charged. The hostel is dark, and the rooms really look like a prison cell with absolutely nothing that creates a little atmosphere. Breakfast okay but not a lot of choice and cheap products. The hostel is right beside the Antwerp ringway which is a motorway. It's about 4 km from the citycentre.
Positive points: beds are okay, quiet in the night, quite clean.
I would suggest the management books a room in for example the hi-hostel in Maastricht and get inspired. They know how to run a modern and friendly hostel.More
