Probably the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in: it felt like stepping into a hospital room with the initial smell of detergent, but that only lasted for a few seconds. This place is really doing it's best to be a great professional business hotel, and I had no complaints at all. For a *** NH hotel I'd say a very good experience.

Hotel is located in easy walking distance of the central square of Mechelen so good for visiting the city, shopping and historical districts.

Check in was speedy and efficient and the room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly . There is free internet and the room had a good desk for working on.

It is a typical medium standard hotel and I would stay here again on my next visit to Mechelen

The hotel check in was flawless! Room was ready ahead of time and without hassles. Hotel allowed small dog (our pet care fell through), even though advertised as "no pets". Rooms were spotless and well-appointed. Only weak point is the breakfast room. That staff had difficulty keeping up with clearing tables and supplying the buffet area. On Monday there were no eggs at all, though we were promised by the staff that they either were coming or won't come at all. After a call to the hotel desk, eggs came and were made for our party. No one had eggs all morning, thought hotel was almost full. "No egg delivery" on a weekday morning is no excuse. Other that the breakfast issues, the hotel and staff were super! Would stay here again!

Room Tip: Even the rooms street side were quiet and light-proofed with sun-blocking curtains.

The hotel is located in the city of a very nice ancient town. The hotel is calm and the town is nice with much architectonic sight. Services were perfect. Personal was friendly and professional. I warmly recommend this hotel.

Great place for a mini trip.
Little issue with the reservation on booking.
As proposed on Booking we had reserved a room with a double bed.
When we arrived, the receptionist said that no more rooms were free with double bed. We had to upgrade our reservation to superior room and pay 10 euro more.
What we did. The room and the night were nice.

The main reason for the terrible review is their mosquito problem. I hear Belgium is currently experiencing a mosquito plague because of the weather, but with the windows closed you don't expect to be bothered by Mosquitos. The only explanation is they're coming through the air vent which is unacceptable.

Travelling with a baby is scary enough but when you have to worry about Mosquitos while you sleep it leads to a generally terrible experience.

Bitten half a dozen times and killed at least a dozen Mosquitos in the room whilst the windows were shut. Very unhappy!! The only assistance given by the front desk was a mosquito insecticide which upon translating was not suitable for use around babies under 2.

I will never be returning here again.

Room Tip: Mosquito splats on the ceiling should be a clear indicator the room is unsuitable for human habitati...

My wife and I were traveling with our baby and stayed overnight. Absolutely satisfied. The bed for a baby was already in the room. Big room, very clean. Bathroom with a bath tub, also very clean. Copious breakfast, stool for a baby available even without request. Friendly personnel. Hotel situated in the center. Late check-out on Sunday was a plus.
