My wife and I had a fabulous lunch with duck breast and spaghetti vongole as mains. The duck was perfectly cooked rare. The spaghetti was al dente with a delicious sauce and ample shrimps and clams. We also had a fantastic leek soup as starter. The servers were warm and friendly. The decor is most welcoming too
There is a sizeable local crowd with kids too . We enjoyed our lunch so much that we returned for dinner on the same day.For dinner we had the lamb chops and the special for the day, rabbit. The dinner experience was just as superb as that for lunch. The prices are reasonable and this dining experience was the perfect ending to our 3 day visit to Brussels.

We stayed at Hotel Pillows opposite - see review.
Saturday night didn't want anything too heavy, looked out of window saw this place.
FANTASTIC!! good food, great beer and wine, very friendly staff, really cannot fault it.
We arrived early prior to kitchen opening sat outside and had some beer's, (4 - all different, under some guidance from the Portuguese waiter,) then once the kitchen opened we ordered croquettes, mushroom on toast, x2 decent size steak's and a bottle of Malbec, then x2 espresso to finish and the bill was 90euro!
Lucky we arrived early, the place was packed, turning clients away, a brilliant local restaurant away from all the tourist(y) rubbish....

Visited this restaurant late in the evening after arriving from a late flight. The place was nicely decorated and the menu is provided in a number of languages, which made understanding it, no difficult task.

The food was nicely presented and tasted delicious.Definitely worth trying, especially if staying in the vicinity of Place de Rouppe.

My wife and I had drinks here during a trip to Brussels. It is a quirky little place with very friendly and helpful young staff. If the weather is nice you can sit outside in the square and watch the world go by.

Chose this place due to close proximity to the hotel we were stopping at. Very quirky with relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service, we only had burgers but they were enjoyable...
It was very busy with people coming in every few mins for a table..so obviously a popular brasserie..
Definitely worth trying if staying in one of the close by hotels..
