We visited this restaurant following reviews on here.
We booked through Tripadvisor as well so really convenient as otherwise there could have been a language barrier on the phone.

We walked about one mile to find this restaurant and it appeared to be in a commercial part of town that was very quiet for a Saturday night.

We were welcomed as we arrived and made to feel included straight away.

The restaurant was actually very busy.

We had a nice table and were immediately attended to. The waiter asked where we were from and he was efficient and friendly all night.

The wine list and menu were extensive and we soon found something we liked.

For starters we shared Buffalo Mozzarella, aubergine, courgettes tomatoes and rocket. Delicious.

We were served a small taster that was a tomato and cheese calzone as well as home made bread and olives.

We both had chef recommended dishes for our main, I had a black truffle risotto and my husband had sword fish. They were both amazing dishes and the attention to detail would not have been out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant.

For dessert I had lemon and lavender semifreddo and my husband had tiramisu which was presented in a plant pot. Very original and both desserts were delicious.

We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and everyone was attentive and friendly.

We ended the meal with cappuccino and complimentary limoncello

When in Brussels give it a try.

Great Italian restaurant next door to the European institutions. I had a reeeeally great carpaccio du spigola and penne alla amatriciana. Great service and food makes you fit for „far niente“ afterwards!

I went there on Nov for the first time
-location is walking distance from European Commission
-Easy access by subway
-The staff were quite friendly/ welcoming and quick.
-We ordered appetiser which was made by zucchini flower ( it was very tasty) then ravioli with truffle for main dish which was good. I only comment is that I expected the ravioli to have more truffle to make it more genuine!
-complimentary limencello in the end showed that they care about their customers!
I will recommend this place to anyone who likes to try some authentic Italian food in Brussels.

It's a typical italian restaurant with a very nice cuisine from the south of Italy (Amalfi). The atmosphere is great, the service is very attentive and you feel very comfortable.
We went for typical dishes; fiori di zuca, rissotto, spaguetti, etc. and it was a very nice experience. Everything was delicious!
It's very near from Schumann and from the European neighbourhood so it's very convenient if some day you finish working late.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, good wine. Definitely recommend this place! The vitello tonato and spaghetti were delicious and the desserts looked amazing! Unfortunately we were so full that we didn't try them, have to come back for them some time though!
