Went to Brussels this past weekend and had dinner at Serafine on Saturday night. It was farther outside the downtown area. It was absolutely perfect inside, great music, lighting and atmosphere. The host and our server were so friendly and offered to explain things in English for us. It was a mix of French and Italian food with a great wine list! We started with the eggplant parmesan and it was probably the best thing I've eaten since I moved to Europe 3 months ago! Had veal piccata for an entree and came with a side of tagliatelli with a light basil sauce. The meat was wonderful and so juicy. The bf had pasta with truffle sauce and it was amazing as well. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the Tiramisu at the end. It was very basic and I was already spoiled from the 1st two courses.
Must try this place. Charming style and great food!
