This is a no-frills restaurant which offers an excellent range of dishes not usually present on the menu of European-oriented Chinese establishments. Consequently it is frequented by Chinese as well as locals. Amongst the specialities we tried and appreciated: duck tongues, hundred-year egg with tofu, chicken feet. For the more conservative customer, there are more mainline beef, pork and duck dishes, Prices very reasonable, service fine. In all, deserves its reputation.

A very well located restaurant with extremely good food. Finding an affordable good Chinese restaurant in Belgium can be a difficult task. This restaurant is a savior for all Chinese cuisine lovers like me.

The service is quick. Would have loved to see more smiling faces but food makes up for all the little flaws.

I would rate this as 90% authentic chinese food. The downside are that service can be a little lacking, place can be quite crowded and being a small place, you will end up with food smell clinging to you clothes. If you don't mind the above, you will enjoy an excellent chinese meal!

Went to Beijingya based on the basis of the Tripadvisor reviews. Glad I did. There were some comments about it being “rough”. I would more call it basic. The furniture is fairly new but not fancy. The food was cheap. Most less than €11. Also got soup. Very large bowls, lots of meat and vegetables. They brought extra rice when the bowl was empty without us even asking. If I were staying in Brussels another night, I would go again.

Don't get discourage by the very plain furniture's and spartan decoration in this restaurant. It has the most tasty, fresh and crispy duck in town. There is a range of dishes to suit everyone and served up in satisfying portions. I brought family, friends and colleagues to Beijingya and all loved the food. The food is fresh, tasty, "home cooked" unlike many of the Asian restaurants around the corner serving prefabricated defrosted dishes. In general Asian restaurants in Brussels don't keep up with the quality served at Asian restaurants in London. I discovered this restaurant passing by seeing it was packed with Asian guest. It just had to try it out. I have never been disappointed.
