My mum and I both had mussels and beer, very yummy. Good value. Lovely little old fashioned place. Was nice not to be pestered into going in, which was the main reason we chose here. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

Looked around the main streets to find most mains for 40+ euro each, found this place where I had the most expensive dish of fillet steak, it was an impressive size too, came with salad, chips and sauce, the other half had grilled chilled with salad and a mushroom sauce. With 2 soft drinks our meal came to €46. Very good food, very good price. Central location, small cozy place with an unusual lay out. Very Happy with my experience.

Thank Vijay J

They are advertising a steak and fries for 9.90 euros on a large board outside, when you go in it is not possible to get that price after 6 p.m. but the sign stays out. The mussles we ordered were not available even though they had a whole page of them on the menue. Out steaks were not good just eddible and not more. The chocolate mousse was very good but we had trouble getting it as they just forgot about us and left us upstairs. We also had trouble geting the bill, the service was terrible worst i have had in a long time. The waiters were unhelpful abrupt and arrogant even though one of our party spoke fluent french. I would not recommend going. The wine was also double the price of any other restaurants we visited on our trip. They also took a reservation from us but did not require a name.

great food, tasty beef, lovely stew, awesome fries, good beers and terrific decor! prices are ok for Brussels, not the cheapest but ordinary prices. Location is great just behind the Grande Place and the decor is weird but delightful. Recommended.
