After first visit, I could recommend this restaurant to my friend. So we visited again in group. Everyone was happy, vegetarians, Muslim, and others could find proper food. Off course I've choosen beef, really amazing. And price is very, very reasonable. After dinner/lunch U may return to travel thru Ols Town.

The interior of this restaurant is quite quirky and the staff are very friendly, albeit less attentive the further you go up the building. I don't blame them for not wanting to go up and down the stairs all night!

The food is standard grill and chips fare but not bad and a reasonable price for the centre of Brussels. For those looking for something simple and which matches the picture on the menu this is for you.

We happened to walk past this restaurant early evening. It is centrally located not far from the main square. We saw a large sign outside advertising a steak deal for 9,90 euros. After receiving the menu from our waiter there was no mention of this deal but after asking for it they said this would be possible. The food was ok but we were most disappointed with the service, especially as the restaurant wasn't busy. No one came to clear our plates or to offer us dessert and we had to go to the bar (where both waiters were sat on the bar stools!) to ask for our bill. Most disappointing indeed on our first night in Brussels.

Despite a not busy lunchtime, a single course meal of steak and frites took 1 and 3/4 hours from sitting down to eventually going to the bar to chase up the bill. While the staff were pleasant, the service was glacial, and when it became obvious that our order had been forgotten (another table that arrived an hour after us received their order, the same as ours, before us) there wasn't even a hint of an apology.

My mum and I both had mussels and beer, very yummy. Good value. Lovely little old fashioned place. Was nice not to be pestered into going in, which was the main reason we chose here. Very friendly staff and excellent service.
