“Amazing!”
Reviewed 7 April 2014 via mobile

Interesting selection of beers, perfect for a stopover on the beer trail. Great food the black pudding starter and ham hock main are something special. Super friendly staff also! This place was recommended to us several times over our stay in Belgium, well worth a visit!

“Tasty food!”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

Came here with a friend and the restaurant was full bar one table outside. Was quickly seated and served. We ordered the beef stew and rabbit with frites. The frites were very good, and the rabbit and beef were especially tasty with a nice beer flavour! Would definitely come again and would recommend anyone giving it a try!

“Excellent beer, tasty food, super friendly staff”

Great little place offering a nice friendly atmosphere, great food and excellent beer. Prices are fair, especially considering how generous the portions are. Would totally recommend!

“Best meal we had in 6 days in Brussels”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

We used Tripadvisor to find a local restaurant near out Apartment in Rue De Bon Secours. We'd already tried out a meal in the Grand Square, and a local Japanese, but this place was great.

The service was 5 Star. Both our service staff were funny and helpful which made the dining experience more fun. The food was 4 Star, we had meats and cheese for starters and then I had the huge Ham Leg while my partner had the Stew with Stoemp with a Creme Brulee.

Timing is very important for this restaurant, we were lucky and got a table at around 7pm, but while we were there a queue built up and people were having to wait for over an hour. I'd recommend not getting the seat next to the door as the latch didn't work well and we had to get up a few times to shut it.

“Great meal with fantastic service”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

My friend and I ate here on a recent city break and were very impressed with the high quality of both the food and service. With a limited but easily sufficient menu, we chose the ham hock and veal meatballs respectively and were delighted with both options - if only we'd left room for dessert!

It's easy to see how this restaurant is so popular. We didn't book but just showed up early and quickly felt lucky to get a table. The customer service was excellent, our hosts were attentive and forgiving of our 'pidgin' French and the restaurant had a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

Wouldn't have looked out of place on Upper Street but far less pretentious and better quality!
