Great food, polite service, nice and cozy atmosphere, I'll be back soon. The food taste and aroma are just outstanding. If you like spicy food, then try it when in Bruxelles.

I'm really not sure what all the negative reviews are about. As a traditional English curry eater, this restaurant offers one of the best curry's I have found in Brussels (where a lot of the fare is quite poor for this type of cuisine). The spices dominated rather than the heat of the curry, the food was very well cooked and presented, and we really enjoyed it. OK, it was a little expensive, but it is in Rue Stevin. Try the vegetable thali - really good.

We used to go a lot to Mumtaz in Brussels. It used to be our favorite but one day we saw a cockroach and the waiter didn't care at all. We found spicy grill and it's been our number one option when it comes to Indian food. They have an awesome chicken mahkanwalla (spelling?) which is my favorite and not all restaurants have them.

i don't understand where all those negative comments come from, in at least one case it's obviously ignorance, Mr "qwertymnbvcx" Nan and Rice are ALWAYS extra ! and Meat cooked in the Tandoor is dry, that is normal !

i found the food very good, i tried 8 indian restaurants in Brussels, and this one is the best. the Chicken Makhanwala was delicious !, The house wine was great, who cares it's not indian but bangladeshi ? they aren't hiding that at all !, all the other indians in brussels are pakistani by the way !

try to find an indian restaurant in europe that doesn't serve meat !

the nan is good, the rice fantastic, and everything was extremely fresh, very obviously just prepared for us, nothing sticking together, airy, delicious.

either there are new owners, or a new cook, or most of you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about !

the waiter was very friendly.

the only thing i didn't appreciate was that they are the only indian i have ever been to that charges for the papadums and the accompanying sauces !
(and those papadums were overcooked)

I visited here mid-August 2012 with a colleague from work as we were trying out the different restaurants during the week. I hadn't read the TripAdvisor reviews at the time (and I prefer not to so that I can make an unbiased judgement afterwards). I can safely say the two of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals (we had two different things and tried a bit of each), and would go back again.

There were only three real negatives that we could see after eating there. The first (and most obvious) is the price... It isn't the cheapest restaurant around, but for the better part the food is worth the money. The second was that the meat in the starter wasn't as good as it could have been, but it was still flavoursome. Finally, the naan breads were a bit overcooked, though they were still tasty.

Overall we enjoyed the food and would go back again without question. The few negatives are cancelled out by the plus points for the restaurant, so it's definitely worth a visit, even if its just to make up your own mind :-)
