Very good and fresh food, pleasant atmosphere... There was a cue of peole waiting for a table but the service was fast and well timed. The atmosphere is one of a place frequented by students, allthough there were people of all ages to see. Very welcoming! Will go again!

Found it on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. ended up going there 2 evenings in a row. It is close to Grand Place (5-7 min walk). The setting is very simple and you may be asked to share large table - place is always busy. They don't use table cloth but service is very friendly , attentive and quick. Have very nice selection of biers and enough wines that you can take by the glass, garage or bottle. all menu is on blackboard and it has 15-20 items there. Food is really good. we have seen no single customer around us levying anything on a plate despite rather generous portions. most dishes cost between 11 and 19 EUR. If you looking for a posh place or for very quiet settings - it is not where you'd go but if you find yourself in Brussels centre with friends or on your own and want to dine well without breaking the budget - i'd recommend it big time. Note , they don't do bookings and do not accept credit cards, but queue goes quickly and would cost for 2 around 35-42 EUR (2-3 biers or wine glasses + 2 mains)

This place is definitely not average, but it's hard to be assessed. There is something about it (which probably explains such a high ranking among Brussels restaurants at TripAdvisor), but it was just not my "cup of tea".
Old creaky chairs, long old tables with no privacy, noisy, rushing, smelling diesel (I guess it was used for heating).
We very quickly decided not to eat there (though dishes looked big and tasty), just have a beer and eat dinner somewhere else.
We might have spent there about half an hour and the place got so overcrowded in meanwhile - people obviously love to come there.
If you decide it might be something for you, do not forget money - they do not accept payment by cards!

Went with a friend at 5pm on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately the kitchen does not open for dinner until 6 and we were on a scheduele. We had a drink each, the framboise beer was as expected from a fruit beer and the Karmelite was a very good tripel. The menu looked very delicious, with a variety of options. Would definitely try the rabbit if I'm ever back in Brussels.

The restaurant is close to the Meridone, so not far from the centre. The place itself is quite nice, i would say cosy!!
Food, Italian, was very good. I went for the Ravioli which were quite good, with a glass of white wine (house chice) which was also quite good. With its pleasant environment, this is a great dinning option is Brussels at a very reasonable price. Service is also quite good and quite!!

the Panna Cota, for desert, was so-so (bellow my expectations).

enjoy the place!
