“Perfect romantic dinner”
Reviewed 8 June 2012 via mobile

We had a great dinner, which was very fairly priced.
The restaurant serves south-west france food, like fois gras.
The stuff is knowledgeble & caring ( they went to the supermarket to buy me glutenfree bread!!).
We will definetely come back!

“Good price and tasty food from the South West of France, but bad first impression with their service”
Reviewed 23 July 2011

We wanted to try this restaurant after reading a review on a local magazine, we made a reservation for 8 saying that we will arrive at 9:30 p.m., some of us arrived on time and others arrived at 9:45 p.m. and the staff were super rude -they didn't even greet us- telling us that we had to order fast because the kitchen was going to close at 10:30 p.m. (that was never mentioned when we did our reservation) We were lucky because another couple arrived after us saying that they wanted a table and they were told they couldn't be served them, and the restaurant was empty -shocking-. Things improved when our waiter came, he was friendly and helpful, service was fast and the food was tasty and perfectly cooked. Very reasonably price but service does need to improve.

“A hidden gem - Excellent food - Great price/quality ratio”
Reviewed 14 July 2011

I thought of keeping it a secret, but this place deserves a spot at the top of this list!!!

This beautifully located restaurant is one of my favorites in Brussels. Excellent food & great wines at moderate prices. Especially the foie gras preparations are top quality for a very reasonable price. The lunch menu is easily one of the best deals in Brussels. Definitely try their suggestions!

“Great Atmosphere, Service, Food”
Reviewed 24 November 2010

A romantic place. Small with small tables, some outside (with blankets in the evening). Smaller dishes, many pates--not light dining, though. Nice selection of wine. No English, but wait staff friendly and very tolerant of rudimentary French. Neither expensive nor inexpensive.
On quiet square of old church, near St. Catherine's Metro but also easy walking distance from many hotels.
We were in Brussels a little more than 48 hours, and we ate there twice--once for dinner and once for lunch just before we left by train. The biggest reason for this review is that if we're lucky enough to revisit Brussels soon, we want them still to be in business, though we feel we're revealing some secret.

“Might be the best meal I've ever had”
Reviewed 23 November 2010

I've been to this place twice during business trips to Brussels, and it is really amazing. They have authentic food from the southwest of France. They have a wide variety of foie gras and other French delicacies available, along with a selection of wines straight from the wineries. I had the foie gras salad which was delicious, and the duck with rosemary and honey, which I think might be the best thing I have ever eaten. It tasted more like steak than any other duck I have had. For dessert I had the creme brulee, which seemed pretty standard.

The atmosphere is so cute - very French. The wait staff, although they spoke limited English, was very nice and accommodating and the service was good. They will also give you a carafe of tap water free of charge if you ask, which is a rarity in this city!
