Owner description: Considered one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Europe, the ornate Grand Place is the center of Brussels, where many historic buildings dating from the 17th century are located.

It's a stunning square in the centre of Bruxelles surrounded by ancient guidhalls and the town hall of the city of Brussels, built around the middle of 1400. It's one of those places that one remembers as unique in a city.

The Grand Place is one of these squares that are just beautiful. Each of the buildings tells a story. Go up to the tower on the town hall for a beautiful view over Brussels and the surroundings. If you have time, go to see all costumes of Manneken Pis. In December visit the Christmas market, in August there is a flower carpet every 2 years, there is a beer festival in the fall, a weekly flower market etc. The Roi d'Espagne is one of the classic restaurants right at the square. Waiters in some of the restaurants are not always friendly and might keep your change assuming that it is meant to be a tip. You never go wrong at the Hard Rock Cafe - it might just be very busy.

Very nice place with buildings from 16 th century. Already best time because of the Christmas lights.

Even if you go there many times, there is always something new to see. The barocal architecture is so rich and diversified. A pleasure for the eyes.

The most beautiful square in Europe, if not the world, with its magnificent guildhouses. The northeast corner has recently been restored and outshines the other parts.
