Had lunch (€35 for 2 courses + coffee) with 2 colleagues. All dishes were of a very high standard, as was the house white wine. Service was formal yet friendly. Restaurant is relatively high-end and the epitomy of a French seafood brasserie. Highly recommended.

Although the restaurant may seem to be a little bit outdated, it offers very nice and good traditional fish dishes. Good service, friendly people. Very good price/quality ratio. We will return.

I went there with colleagues for lunch after a very successful meeting, so some would say my enthusiasm needs to be dampened. Not so. Certainly not modern, but in the good sense. Aging staff (hence unhurried service), old style cooking (perfected for many years), excellent wine list. As charming as a black-and-white movie. Will certainly go again, on a good occasion to celebrate. Will splurge again - this is not a place for bargain seekers.

The restaurant was empty when the two of us arrived. We did have a third person coming so they sat us at the window on a table for 4. When the other person didn't arrive they tried to move us back to a table of two at the back of the room. This would have been understandable had it not been for the fact we were the only ones there!!! It was still early and I explained we would be out with in 45min, well before the place filled up...if indeed it was going to.
The waiter kept filling our wine glasses up every time we had a sip - really annoying! I think he wanted to get rid of us ASAP. When we did finish only one other couple had arrived. Such a shame as we walked across the road to the Sofitel and continued drinking, rather than stay here and not feel welcome.

Tuna was OK but the vegatables weren't very good.

they specialise in fish. Old style I would say. The menu must have been drafted in 1960 and remained the same all along. The fish I had was a bit more recent, but badly cooked. And quite pricey. The "maison" white wine tasted like lemon juice. And the service was kind, but quite slow, and included a scene of a (verbal) fight between the Maitre d' and the chef.
