We loved Pierre Marcolini's non-traditional chocolate pairings. The Earl Gray filled chocolate was my favorite, and I also loved the Violet infused dark chocolate. The shop is very modern and has a cosmopolitan vibe.
We visited here as a treat whilst on a short break to Brussels. The prices are high but it is a lovely place to visit and to be able to treat yourself to some nice chocolates. The staff were friendly and there was so much variety. We would visit again.
For all those who want to indulge hemselves in excellent quality chocolate and who love artistic creations: Pierre Marcolini is THE place to go.
We were happily surprised with the new Advent creation, a calendar with 25 chocolate boxes, one for each day from Dec 1st to Christmas.
The season's creations are awesome. The creation Charles Kaisin did to decorate the building for Christmas is amazing!
Pierre Marcolini is not just a chocolatier! He is the "haute couture" of chocolate delights.
Absolutzly world class.
I have as in Amsterdam and I had to go to Brussels to get me some chocolate I have read about a few shops that are highly rated for the quality of chocolate they provide and Marcollini was at the top of the list and the shop did not disappoint the chocolate was amazingly different from what I am used to but flavor wise it was amazing and of course when u r there you have to buy macaroons they are quite exquisite.
Simply the best, better than all the rest. I've been a loyal customer since the opening of the first shop in the St. Hubert Gallery. My favourites? The éclairs and the macarons.
We stopped here on a chocolate tour and of all of the chocolates we tried, this was probably our second favorite behind Patrick Roger. Although, I think that was mostly because PR had so many unique flavors. If we had compared PR’s straight chocolate to PM’s, it probably would have been a toss-up. I would also like to mention that the ladies behind the counter who were serving us were incredibly friendly and helpful. Another plus? They sell sugar-free chocolate for diabetics as well as several very small chocolate bars, which we thought were great to bring back as souvenirs for friends. The chocolate was very rich and creamy- highly recommend.
