Stumble upon this hotel by accident as the apartment we booked was not ready and they told us we can't stay there. Walked for about an hour to find a hotel (mostly were fully booked) because it was National day for Brussels the next day.

Upon entering the hotel, the receptionist/manager greeted us with a warm smile and fluent english. He gave us two rooms and allowed us to see the rooms before booking and paying for it. Happy with my stay . He was helpful in terms of telling us where to go and eat. He even tried to figured out my bus stop for my next journey to Amsterdam.

All in All, the service was great!!!

Breakfast was a good selection of typical hotel breakfast. Yogurt, coffee, tea, bread, jam, ham and cheese. Constantly refilling our plates.

Would stay here again if I am in Brussels !

As for the toilet, my sis and I had shared toilet (common area), while my parents had ensuite.

My sis and I did not encounter any problem with the shared toilet, it was constantly being kept clean and did not smell.

Room was of good size, double bed facing the round-about.

Room Tip: get room with more windows.

Being students, my friend and I wanted somewhere comparatively cheap to stay. Obviously with the word "cheap" comes an acceptance of certain conditions, but we were both surprised. The foyer was incredibly impressive, neat, clean and lovely finishing touches. Also able to leave luggage before check-in/after check-out.

Our room also exceeded our expectations. Perhaps a little small but in a city break you're there for the city, not there to stay in the hotel so it certainly never felt too small. Extremely clean and comfortable and if a little hot at night there was a fan provided in the room. Replacement of tea and coffee supplies every morning.

Breakfast we felt was a little steep, but as there were supermarkets on pretty much every corner there was no problem sourcing breakfast elsewhere, and obviously those on a larger budget would have no problem paying for the breakfast.

Staff themselves were extremely helpful, friendly and yet professional. We spoke to them in French but they were also quite fluent and seemed happy to speak in English so no language barriers. Their local knowledge was invaluable; they told us the best places to eat, which bars to go to and where to get away from the main "tourist" sites.

Hotel itself is in an excellent location, about 15 minutes walk from the Eurostar station, and then 10 minutes in the other direction to the Grand Place, and from there anywhere.

I think the only grievance we had the shared toilet facilities, but as these were extremely clean and we had an ensuite shower and sink, it really wasn't a problem.

Overall, an extremely pleasant and comfortable stay, beyond exceeded expectations, perfect location and would thoroughly recommend to someone looking to stay for a few nights in the city.

The hotel itself is in an excellent location, just in the border between a so-so neighborhood and the historical center. The good location refers to the proximity to the attractions. While the entire city leaves a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness, this hotel is overall clean. We could not disregard, though, the fact that the toilet bowl smelled really bad, to the extent of forcing us to keep the door shut at all times to avoid the stink from filling the room. Nice friendly staff, no complaints about noises or other issues. Spatious enough for three in a double room.

The hotel rates in the center of Brussels are prohibitive and this place is comparatively decent. For the rates that they charge, the place is too run down and smells too much of mothballs. The location is great, however, and the place is clean and efficient.

The hotel was very centrally located and was within walking distance from Midi Brussels the main train station if u dare brave the traffic which can be heavy. Nice restaurants nearby and the great plus point is that it is near the Grand Place. Room was spacious enough and most of the receptionists were very helpful.

Friendly manager, we arrived early and although the room was not ready we were able to leave our bags in the room. Convenient location for site seeing in Brussels and great for us as it was half way between Gare Midi (Eurostar) and the centre.
Breakfast was a simple buffet for about EUR 8, the room over looked a small square, with a couple of bars, no problem with noise.
