We stayed at Le Dixseptieme while on a trip to Paris, Brussels and Brugge. After staying in Paris for 3 days, it was a pleasure to check into our room, the Spillaert, located on the 5th floor, in the modern section of the hotel. It was just like a studio apartment. Very spacious relative to the room we had in Paris. Good sized bed, comfortable too. It also had room for a sofa/sitting area to watch TV in the evenings, if you wanted. The bathroom was well-appointed and we enjoyed the classical music we played on the CD player that was in the room. This hotel is well-appointed and an oasis in the city. We were steps away from the touristy part of Brussels, but you really couldn't tell once you stepped inside the beautiful hotel. We loved the fact that we were very close to Gare Centrale, Grand Place and other key sites. If you like flea markets, go to the one on Place du Jeu de Balles, held every morning.. about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. This was a beautiful, well-appointed, lovely hotel and we would highly recommend it, and cannot wait to return to it the next time we are traveling to Brussels.

This hotel is about 100m from the Grote Markt and with secure parking nearby. Lovely property and very helpful staff. Would recommend highly.

Stayed in the Jordaens suite for 2 nights (I booked an Executive Suite, but I think we were upgraded). Absolutely stunning room, enormous, decorated with antiques, four poster bed, amazing view from the THREE huge double windows. Beautiful hotel in perfect location--just a few blocks from the Grand Place. We had breakfast brought up to the room--delicious and varied. The common areas of the hotel were also very beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff was nice enough.

I spent last Friday and Saturday in this hotel, it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience.

I booked through the hotel website and it gave 50% off on weekends deals. My room is the superior suite; it is on the top floor facing the street and the lovely church. It is spacious, authentically decorated and splitting in two levels. The staircase is original and the wood roofing trusses are exposed. There is a roof terrace connecting to the bedroom where you can see the top of the ‘hotel de ville’ in the Grand Place.

Le Dixseptieme sits in the best location, it is close to everything. It provides an elegant, tranquil and comfortable atmosphere in the centre of the vibrancies.

The book shop next door certainly is well worth visiting.
