Owner description: More than 250 vehicles cover the story of the automobile history since its early days. One zone is dedicated to sports and racing cars, while "Belgium at Autoworld" tells the love story between Belgium and the automobile industry. A different themed temporary exhibition is organized every 2-3 months! Discover this museum in the Southern Hall of the Cinquantenaire in Brussels, one of the most beautiful architectural buildings of Belgium. Autoworld, more than a museum!

Cars through the decennia. Very nice.

The gift shop was a bummer, 90% was filled with toy models of cars.
Cafe was understaffed. We had to wait 30 minutes to order our drinks.

“Very nice - Must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2013

If you are a true car/motorcycle lover this is a place you must visit!
Worth visiting for sure but would not put on the top of the list if you are visiting Brussels for only a couple of days. There're other interesting sight-seen to do in this fantastic city but if you've done all the 'classic' visits this museum should be the next on your list!
Just in front is the Army museum, full of aircrafts that is also worth visiting. I advise you to consider visiting both in one afternoon. Open on Sundays also, which is an absolute plus.
Enjoy :)

“Amazing”

Thia museum os absolutely a must do. If you love cars you will feel happy like a child. Even you can take pictures with you into a race car and feel like a F1 driver.
300 cars since 1890 until today. Race cars and a good gift shop. Audioguide would be better and have more information about the cars.

“Not very attractive to kids”

We thought that our grandson (3 1/2y) would have liked this museum but it's more for adults and car-loving teenagers.

“Good collection, lifeless experience...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

Yes this is a good car collection. Yes you pay a fee to see it. Yes they have expenses to pay...
Why does it have to be so stale?
It looks clean and tidy, but in the end you could as well have been looking at ancient statues!
There is no ambience, just a couple of hundred cars parked near each other and organised chronologically.
There's no hands on (at least you should be allowed in *some* cars) not much in terms of information (a short text description for each car and that's it!) almost nothing on the technological or engine part; no open bonnets, or doors, or boots, or what some engines look like; or how they work...
So although they have a lot of good material, it's all still, polished, locked, and out of touch. They've got sports cars there -what do they look like on the inside? What do their engines look like? How do they differ from a conventional family sedan engine?
The have old and new cars - how have they evolved? What's the difference for the driver/passengers? Is there more spare? More comfort?
What did these cars look like when launched? Any promotional videos from that time? Any tests?
There are literally thousands of things that could give life to Autoworld and it's a shame to have it as lifeless as they currently do!
