Owner description: More than 250 vehicles cover the story of the automobile history since its early days. One zone is dedicated to sports and racing cars, while "Belgium at Autoworld" tells the love story between Belgium and the automobile industry. A different themed temporary exhibition is organized every 2-3 months! Discover this museum in the Southern Hall of the Cinquantenaire in Brussels, one of the most beautiful architectural buildings of Belgium. Autoworld, more than a museum!

We really liked this exhibition of cars old and new however you can look at a car and feel nothing but your heart skips a beat when you sit in it! In other words the Maserati cars were great but wish I had the opportunity to have a seat in one. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed the little old cars and the display of old carts and bikes including the penny-farthing. Good all around and enjoyed by all of us today :)

This is a large auto museum and it offers a wide collection of automobiles from the early days to the mid-20th century. Even my wife, who is usually bored by such excursions, enjoyed the museum. They have a very valuable collection, some interesting displays, and the cars are in excellent condition. Their gift shop has some nice items, but don't expect any bargains.

Great selection of cars very well displayed. What it lacks is a bit of atmosphere as it's a bit sterile. Even the Maseratti exhibition was a bit clinical. Still worth the visit especially to see where it is based.

The Autoworld Museum is a great place to spend an afternoon as the permanent exposition is about car industry through time, the amount of cars is amazing and most are exceptionally beautiful.
On the other hand the non permanent expo's are also great taking up half of the second floor, the most recent being "100 years of Bugatti".

Very nice museum would seriously suggest to car enthusiasts.

Totally worth the 9 Euro. Note if you are going in the summer time, the only place that felt like it had AC was the gift shop and the restaurant. It is tolerable on the first floor, but on the second floor the air is pretty thick.

I see other folks got an audio guide--so now I feel cheated. haha. I'm a history buff so learning about some of these cars and their place in history was fascinating. It was like the evolution of transportation starting with carriages powered by horses and people to electric cars.

My highlights - the Pacer (yes I immediately thought of Wayne's World); the first mobile home; the wedding carriage of Napolean; the model of Porsche that was driven by the Belgian police; and the car that could both be classified as a boat and an automobile.
