“Heaven for Military Buffs”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

History abounds. See all the uniforms and weapons from every war that Belgium has ever fought in. See massive mortars and shells bigger that a small car. We armor and chain mail and a delightful gift shop.

“Excellent collection of military history”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

From a historical point of view, well worth visiting, and i make it a point
to visit when ever i'am in Brussels. The restaurant is good value, but i
found the staff as not being friendly.

“Free Museum!”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

I walked in here because I wanted to head up for the views of the city but was pleasantly surprised by the museum.

Free is obviously great but there was a lot of displays of old uniforms and combat equipment including planes and guns. There is some history to be learned here but it's all about the displays.

“a secret jewel, mostly for kids”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

was really a surprise - entrance is free, Location terrific in a big park high above the City. And the Kids from 14 to 80 (!) loved the "air hall" with many many aerplanes from all the times. And the Restaurant in that hall is serving good Snacks that you enjoy sitting amongst the planes - plan at least 2 hours!
