Located within a couple of minutes walking from the Grand Place and from the Notre Dame cathedral, it is central to visit also the Mount des Arts with Palace Royale, and Museums. We got a room on the first floor with old furnishing that normally could be rated as *** or ***S but not **** as the hotel is. Anyway, cleanliness was guaranteed and staff was very friendly and smiling. Breakfast was also ok but in a not very bright room under the ground floor. Our experience at NH Hotel in Gent was much better.

Location is amazing; very central to almost everything. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and of good size. Breakfast is fine and is good to start one's day.. definitely recommend it to others and will want to stay in it again when in Brussels.

They gave us a room at the top floor right facing the square. First, there is equipment on the roof right over our head that was making noise all night. We could not sleep. Second there is noise from drunk people in the square all night so that disturbs your sleep (but, we were aware anyway). Third, we asked the staff at the hotel about the noise and the man at the front desk lied to us and told us that the room will be quiet at night. I think the minimum requirement for a 4 star hotel in a chain like NH is that you should be able to sleep at night. It's not too much to ask for!

Came to stay here when it was under as the best western not NH. When we booked we payed around €200 for the weekend. We asked for a room on the front and our requests was granted. It was clean and the staff was friendly, and was located quite close to the grand place, although when we got home we checked and could of stayed next door in the ibis for around €75 cheaper.
