Well place to access EU institutions, but be aware that they surcharge on the bill after the booking. What you book for though their website will cost much more when the bill comes. In my case the final bill was more than 30% higher than quoted in the booking.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Holiday Inn Brussels Schuman.

Based on your information I investigated with the Front Office team what happened and we found out that the morning you checked out, another room bill was presented to you. After you left the hotel, our receptionist noticed the mistake and rectified it immediately. Please know that you finally paid exactly what you have booked.

Sorry for this inconvenience Sbrusin. It is important that room numbers are repeated and that your name is used even when it's mentioned on the invoice.

I hope with this information that your trust in Holiday Inn Brussels Schuman is renewed.

Stayed there for one night! The hotel offers standard amenities needed. Rooms are ok, bed was comfy.
Friendly staff at the reception, quick check in/-out.
Hotel is located close to the EU area with lots restaurants and bars in walking distance.
Would stay there again for business trips to Brussels.

It was the only one of my favorite part of that holiday in this country to enjoy my holiday, the personal from the front desk very nice and friendly. And the breakfast really many choices I wold like to come back.

We stayed here as part of our Euro road trip. Last night! We arrived on Saturday and were aware of a e24 per night parking charge. However the receptionist politely recommended parking on the road outside as it is free until Monday 9.00am.

We could even park quite close. We were given two rooms as family room was out of commission due to Air con fault. As it was 37c that day the two rooms with air con was best option.

This is an older hotel but not shabby either. As you can guess we loved the receptionist and our rooms were not letting her welcome down either. Clean well appointed and reasonably large.

Unfortunately unlike Paris and also Holiday Inns I stay in the UK they do have complementary chocs mini pringles etc mini bottle of red wine but there is a e2 - e3 or so charge for most of it. So go carful if you normally get that as your welcome amenities which are free in many IHG hotels back home.

Breakfast was fine good choices including freshly made waffles. However the lay out or the self service area is quite narrow and once you get your space hog it as you wont get it back. Especially by the hot drinks.

Room Tip: Park on road at weekends, make sure windows are fully closed if you want air con. Electric sensor will cancel out if only slightly open.

typical HI experience .. europe size rooms... was a nice walk to squares and restaurants decent check in staff is helpfull.. pillows were a little too soft but ok for one night...parking can be real issue.. there is some behind the street but have to look for it

Room Tip: parking can be a challenge to find in front of the hotel but there is some behind the hotel
