I love this bar in the center of Brussels. It has very authentic products and authentic service. Both are a bit rough (the Geuze sur lie is somewhat sour, a real drink of a century ago), and the personnel is a little rough as well, but that is as it should be in authentic Brussels place.

Go there and have and experience. Forget the tourist places! Have fun!

An amazing bar, It has a vintage look about it but that is part of the attraction. The beer selection is wonderful and the staff were very friendly. Beer lovers must go there.

The beer is to die for, the location is convenient and the interior is special. Definitely worth dropping by, or staying in. It's a little piece of beer history.

What a fantastic place! We had a day out in Brussels, not totally sure of the best places to go we headed to the tourist information. The man behind the desk seemed to be wishing we were taking him with us. He suggested four bars and this was one of them. We loved it, the first we went to was this, which we enjoyed so much we went back to later on. The Mort Subite Blanche is amazing. The waiter even remembered us on our return later in the day.
Don't miss out on this gem, the service wasn't the quickest, but that seemed the norm for the way of life in Belgium. Any trip to Brussels isn't complete (for a beer drinker) without a trip here.
