Very good experience of association between wines and dishes. The boss is a wine specialist as the name of this place indicates. He succeeds with his wife to marry wine and food very well! A great experience, a great moment!

A family run restaurant with a regularly changing though small daily menu. The quality is honestly outstanding. The husband sommelier provides the wine he considers suitable for the meal, generally unusual and less known wines and growers and his wife cooks exquisite meals in the kitchen. Out of the way for tourists but very nice and discreet for business.

The quadrant between the Belgian Parliament, Rue Royale and the roaring inner ring road is one of the hidden corners of Brussels; despite the central location, there are still streets with gently crumbling town houses that appear to have been forgotten. There are however many restaurants in the area and this must be the best.
It is run by an enthusiastic husband and wife team, who offer a limited choice of seasonal food and an eclectic range of wines. There isn't really a menu, allow yourself to be guided by Monsieur (who can explain everything in French, English or Flemish). Wine is available by the glass and you will be persuaded that each course deserves its own wine, so settle in and don't plan to do anything too strenuous afterwards. Although this is not a place for a 45 minute lunch, the small size of the place (about a dozen tables) means service is good for a restaurant that does not take short cuts. The sweetbreads and the cod were both excellent, with the cooking timed to perfection. For the quality of the food and wine, prices are not excessive; around the Sablon you would pay 50% more.

Very little restaurant with a great value for money. The owner and sommelier is a very passionate man who embarks you on a gastronomical discovery and makes you feel immediately at ease. If you want to escape from the daily rush in Brussels, this is the spot. Dishes are always fresh because there are often a very little choice of dishes to choose from and this makes the particularity of it. Let the man take you on his ride and you won't be disapointed at all. Go there but make sure to make the reservation before. This is a hadden jewel. Went there several times and will return for sure!!

If you are in a real hurry and want a quick lunch while watching your watch this is not the place to be. If you want to enjoy the ride, and ready to join in on a ride of great ingredient well prepared in combination of some great wines that this is the place to be. The food is excellent. It is not in line with the latest gastronomic trends in which when ordering lobster you have to find your way to the lobster amoungs the 200 other ingredients. But it is a kitchen prepping great ingredients in a very honest way. The sommelier is fantastic, at last one that did not get lobotomized, so be careful he has some character. Just like the great wines he will let you discover. Reservation is a must. Food is fresh. Wine is great. Overall a perfect place to know. Great value / cost balance! I just love it! Sit back and enjoy the ride.
