My wife and I enjoyed a free walking tour in Brussels, arranged by Sandeman Tours. There were no tickets to pay for, but there was a discretionary tip, to pay the guide, subject to how much you enjoyed it.
Our guide Peter, from England, was very good and kept our party of 28 people interested and informed. An excellent way to find out details about the city and where to go, eat, drink and visit, rather than just looking at a building wondering what it was for.
