Reviewed 12 January 2014

We spent one night at this hotel before returning back to the States from our Christmas trip. Booked off the internet we weren't sure what to expect. Access to the hotel by car was a bit difficult as it it located in a walking zone off of a one-way street. Once we figured out how to get there we were delighted to find a very classy and modern hotel. Staff was extremely busy as we arrived early at peak check-out time but was still extremely friendly and helpful. They took our bags, we went to the beautiful bar for an early drink and told them we would check-in later. The hotel is conveniently located to all the major attractions so we just started walking. We came back later to complete our check-in. Our room was very small but well equipped. The shower was a bit strange with just a glass partition and no door which resultfed in water spilling all over when using the rain shower... Breakfast the next morning was wonderful with fresh croissants, wonderful breads and charcuterie, cheeses, etc.
We enjoyed our short stay and can only recommend this hotel to our fellow travelers

We stayed for three nights in this lovely hotel in mid December. The location of this stylish hotel was just perfect for us - we were really pleased with the quality of the staff at the hotel. Reception were friendly and the bar staff were great. We did want to book breakfast but the cost was just too much for our budget - such a shame. Our room overlooked the hotel courtyard and it was fine. Lovely dressing gowns and big fluffy white towels. The hotel had a relaxed feel to it and all the candles dotted around reception and in the bar made it look beautiful in the evening. We did not eat in the restaurant but it was always busy when we went out to eat in the evening. We loved the Christmas market at Pl. St. Catherine. We had some great food at Cafe Georgette, Rue de la Fourche - relaxed and friendly place. All in all a great weekend break in Brussels and we loved trying out the different cocktails in the bar in the evenings after we had our meal in town. Perfect.

Great position local to the subway. Easy to get to. Free wireless. Nice bar and not too expensive considering the location.
Clean modern rooms with polite, efficient and professional staff. Go there. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: There is no pool but you are none the worse for it.

The hotel lies a bit hidden behind the Opera (The Muntschouwburg)house of Brussels. It is a walk distance away from the historic centre of Bxl and 5 minutes from the big marketplace. The rooms are great as are the cocktails @ the lounge bar. The breakfast is great and bubbles are included. If you want to have dinner @ the hotel don't hesitate the kitchen is great. If you want to go and look for a restaurant near by just walk out of the hotel, go right and in that street you can find a great restaurant called Belga Queen, great set, nice food and atmosphere. The Dominican hotel is no one of the cheapest but they offer great deals during the weekend or sometimes via booking.com. Enjoy your stay in Brussels :)

Room Tip: The deluxe rooms are ok so you don't have to look for an upgrade if it's 2 expensive. Nice t...

My Partner surprised me with a trip to Brussels and selected this beautiful hotel for our break. Loved every moment of our stay. The sumptuous surroundings of this place are not a let down, the website represents this well unlike other hotels. The staff are attentive and well trained. Check in was easy and we made our way to the standard room. The room was well spaced, the bed the most comfortable i have ever laid in. The spa facilities are clean and when we went had the place to ourselves. The bathrooms in the rooms are clad with marble and very clean. The selection on the TV was surprisingly varied with free movies i think. Breakfast was the most expensive i have seen at 33 Euro but we had it and it was nice, just nice. The hotel offers everything you could want including a free i pad to use in reception to surf online and an umbrella when it rains. Brussels i found a little dim generally so thank you The Dominican for making the stay much much better! The bar i assume is open to all so if i find myself back i will come in for another drink.

Room Tip: Stop being fussy, im sure all the rooms are lovely. Ours looked onto an ally way and was still fanta...

Dear guest,
Woaw, I am really flattered by such kindness!
Somehow speechless now...
(Allow me to point out that breakfast is not at 33 euro, but 27 euro.)
Warm regards,

This hotel was excellent. Clean, friendly and very helpful staff with a very good restaurant. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Really cannot fault the hotel at all and would very happily stay there again. Really good location, close to the main city centre sites and De Broukere Metro.
