I have been living in Brussels for over 5 years and this is one of my favourite restaurants. The ambiance is great, especially if you get to seat in one of the train carriages :) The food is incredibly tasty and portions are fair, affordable prices too. All dishes seems to have their own identity based on a unique recipe and not simply on a combination of ingredients with some 'Asian' flavours. You always leave craving for more!

Even better than the food are the owners/staff who will greet you with a smile and if you go frequently enough, you may even get a welcome kiss when you walk in.

Note that the food is not indonesian but Vietnamese. The food was way better than the other vietnamese restaurant on the same street, and offering variety and originality. But tables are uncomfortably close one from the other, so basically everyone ends up shouting.

The restaurant itself is a bit cramped, but nothing too bad. The house rose is good and a good value. The food's presentation was nice (I had crispy noodles with beef, porc and seafood), but the sauce was clearly from a bottle rather than made on the spot. It tasted artificial and was made "enjoyable" via liberal doses of (excellent) pepper paste and soy sauce.

All in all, you don't really feel that you're getting indonesian food, but rather below-average chinese...

I'm not going back, though the service was nice. They need to up their game on preparing the food.

Friendly and helpful service.
Authentic cuisine with a broad variety of tasty dishes.
Spices are hot.
Venue itself is nothing special, small booths, kind of dark.

The place is cosy and original in design. And it's always full. Service is efficient.
If only the food were of the same standard! I have never eaten badly here, but the food is not really great or original either. It would be better to offer fewer but fresh dishes than lots of different dishes where half the ingredients, especially the seafood, come from the freezer.
