Truly one of the best meals we have ever had in our lives. A beautiful romantic evening where we received personal attention from the owner himself. No pretension what so ever, they knew this was a special evening and made it so without trumping up the bill or recommending over the top wines. Reasonable wines were recommended and each course was innovative and fabulous- a true dining experience

La Truffe Noire has been around for over 25 years and the protagonists of the place are the black and white truffles. At the entrance we are greeted by chef Luigi himself. We started off with 'Crispy Champagne', a must try! La Truffe Noire is an incredibly refined place. We had one of 'Luigi's Weaknesses' - Périgord truffle 'A la Croque au Sel' (which was to die for) and the ravioli stuffed with slices of black truffle. Everything was amazingly prepared and our conclusion was that Luigi is a very talented food wizard, extremely passionate about food. Definitely worth dining here!

We had our wedding Lunch here in the private dining room upstairs, it was truly delicious and intimate!

As the final course we had a wedding cake, but this was served on some kind of "wedding boat", which honestly did not fit in with the overall setting. It looked like it was made at a kindergarten, also it was a bit dusty.

The only tip for Luigi would be to sink this boat and use something more fitting...

Overall, a delicious experience with passionate people ready to serve you.

Enjoy!

Nice decore, nice food, avarage situation and too expensive. This is a michellin star restaurants with very nice dishes based and specialized in the utilization of truffels. You always come out with a higher bill than you expected. The location is avarage but the decor is very nice. There is no parking and in the evenings there is a valet parking. Overall you enjoy but you pay.
I recommend its sister brasserie, with similar food, less decor, better situated Le Atelliers du Ttruffe Noire on the elegant Av. Louise operated by the same proprietere Luigi. There you have a taste of the good food wiyh more reasonable prices.

I am really surprised to see the comments this restaurant got. As it can be easily understood, this place is the right one for truffle lovers. The chef (probably the chef&owner) seemed to be in love with truffles himself. We had 2 different pasta, both with truffles and had a beef carpaccio as a starter, all of which was more than delicious. The service was so good, everything was ok both for the eyes and the palate. They also have a wide selection of quality wines. The prices might seem a little bit high but if you are a truffle person you know these are not porcini mushrooms and you have to pay for the difference.
