My wife and I stayed here on 2 separate nights and would highly recommend. Short walk from train station and close to bars and restaurants. They were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and if you're lucky will share some excellent home brewed beer.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in early Oct. Dominique and Armel are a very nice couple. She speaks very little English but Armel speaks enough English to make up for it, in case you had questions about anything. They were very helpful as far as places to visit and had many tour guide books and maps that guests could borrow. Even though our room was overlooking the Rue de la Montagne, it was very quiet. The room was very clean, has a modern bath, the bed has very comfortable mattress and the B&B is in an excellent location -- right next to the old city. It was very close to Central station. Dominique served a delicious, plentiful breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We really liked the Montagne room.

Location : About 10 min walk from the Brussels Centraal station. Nearby there are plenty of foods, shops, all in walking distance.
Room : Well decorated, comfortable, just like your own bed room. My only problem (for me) is "no tv" in the room. If not, I will give 101%! We rented both rooms, one is facing the street, the other one is facing the backyard, you can see all the green! In the front room, if you are using wifi, should always use the "Dom"! You will know, when you come!
Breakfast : Table are beautifully decorated! Hot coffee/tea, orange juice, fresh bread with home made jam, cheese and ham also provided, hot boiled egg, home made yogurt! Yummy! You may fix the breakfast time with Dominique! We had it at 8am, seems to me that they don't mind to prepare at 7+ too!
Dominique and husband, they are very nice! Dominique does not speak English.

Thanks for your review after your stay "in family", a stay so demanding that we are a bit disapointed by this "not 100%"...

We could not guarantee the famous quietness of our place if there were tv in the bedrooms, so it's a clear choice, but Wifi is very efficient (and gratis)

to be precise, the normal languages here are French and Dutch (Brussels is 90% French speaking)

Thanks to TripAdvisor to put Dominique n# 1, we have organized our trip 15 months in advance to be sure: we are more than happy with this choice. Best explanations to make our stay fantastic, best beers and breakfasts.

We plan to come back on next year as central place to visit Antwerp, Paris and London (one-day trips).

Room Tip: Don't use cabs, it's so easy by train and feet...

A great place to stay. Armel and Dominique invite you into their home, a short walk from the Gare Central, and very close to the delightful Gros Markt and its spectacular architecture (especially beautiful as the sun is setting).
A smooth operation from start to finish, booked through their website we paid 90 euro a night, included a typical B&B breakfast (with boiled eggs to add to the usual fare), clean and very comfortable room with ensuite, and excellent restaurant recommendations from the hosts.
The street noise is the only slight problem - cars make a lot of noise on the cobbled street and depending on what night you are there there may be drunks roaming past at all hours of the night.
But if you want a great location this is sometimes a price you have to pay, so I still rate this as a fantastic choice.

We found the website of Chez Dominique by choice. It is Station nearby, just 2 minutes walk from station with friendly details by host that will not get lost. Also close to Grand Place that around 5 minutes walk. Homemade breakfast and boutique hotel atmosphere.

We were 2 Aussie Couples finishing 6 weeks travelling with 5 days in Brussels & the welcome to a 'home away from home' (notably without the housework & washing up) was just the antidote to soul-less hotels. Dominique & Armel were charming without being at all intrusive - as it is we who were in their home. So close to the rail station, Grand Place and many restaurants and attractions. Dominique presented the most amazing home made breakfasts each morning in a sunny room with Armel giving us a taste of his home-made beers one evening. A great place to stay, relax, stroll out in evenings to nearby restaurants & entertainments. We booked a bus tour one day & the pick up was just around the corner, so this is a perfect location for most activities in Brussels. It was handy to have local recommendations on how to travel by train to other towns (Bruges is highly recommended for an easy day trip); & they can even help with a personal driver who took us out into the country for a drive through the Ardennes.
