There can't be many restaurants that welcome their guests so affably. Almost everyone who comes through the door is greeted as an old friend, and this is probably because most of them really are: the clientèle seems to consist almost entirely of regulars. It's a neighbourhood Italian restaurant, not really on the tourist trail, serving mainly locals, many of whom are actually of Italian origin, always a good sign. It's not the best Italian food in Brussels, it's not the cheapest Italian food in Brussels either, but we return time and time again, like ClaireinBrussels, because the people are so friendly and obliging, the food is tasty and well presented and the portions are generous. We run a B&B in the neighbourhood and have sent many guests there, all of whom returned replete and happy. And as Claire writes, the digestif is on the house once they recognize you.
