Beautiful garden with a wide variety of plants and trees. It is great wandering around and if you are into it you can look for all the hidden symbolic meanings in the design of the garden. We did not do the tea ceremony but you can if you make a reservation in advance.

The Japense garden is located near the Kapermolen park. If you are in the neighborhood you should definitely pay it a visit. The entrance fee is 5€ which is a fair price. The garden is not very big but if you stroll around it a visit would take about an hour.

A lot of people shoot their wedding pictures here or the pictures of their children. The scenery is pretty nice and you should bring your camera!

It can be pretty crowded sometimes though.

If you are visiting Hasselt for a short term, the Garden is one of the things you should visit!

Hasselt is a nice typical belgian town and if you are going their, the japanese garden is worth visiting if you have a car as it is away from the city center.
Convenient access beside from ring road and free parking. However the garden may look overpriced (5€) since it quite small. I believe it is still worth visiting if you have no experience of japanese culture: the house looks authentics (Japanese architect) and the garden is very clean.
What a pity that the ring road brings its disturbing noises.

It's a piece of garden in Hasselt with a Japanese Theme. It's amazing place to visit during spring; We were a little too late for the blossoms. Koi fishes are gigantic and vibrant in color. A must visit garden for those who loves gardens.
