His terse response came to symbolise the resistance of American soldiers when faced with the enemy. This has been a Royal Military Museum site since 2010, where visitors can view a large collection on the theme of the Battle of the Bulge as well as a unique and extensive range of Second World War vehicles.

Michel gave a very informative and interesting tour. If you are in Bastogne this is a must see, my girlfriend was in attendance and is not a WWII history buff but she had a great time and learned a lot

We found this through TA, and thought, hell, why not? We have all done our fair share of museums, tours, trips etc. and it is possible to get a little jaded. No chance here. Our deepest thanks to Sgt Joel Denis for his courtesy, knowledge and unflagging enthusiasm. Two hours just disappeared, like, gone! A huge thank you to Belgium (feels odd thanking a state!) for doing this. Most museums are reasonably priced and I have no complaints there, but this is a gift to any visitors who are interested in the events of '44. The fact that no charge is levied is a bonus, hopefully this will continue.

I could wax lyrical but I'll spare you all. If you have the time, take this tour, I cannot conceive of a universe in which you would be dissappointed.

Joel, je vous remercie de votre temps et de courtoisie.

The history of the buildings! The vehicles! The stories! And the enthusiasm and passion for the subject shown by our very personable and knowledgeable guide, Joel....This was outstanding.

This was a fantastic tour led by a Belgium soldier. He told stories of what happened there, led us around the displays and allowed us to tour to our hearts content all of the amazing vehicles that the Barracks maintains. All for free. What an amazing experience!

What a feeling of pride in our veterans and a wonderful way to honor them!!
RONNY,our guide, who is in the Belgium military, was so informative and great..
We learned so much and the weaponry, reenactments, and stories were wonderful. So nice of Belgium to honor the veterans..When we were there,a group of veterans from the Battle of the Bulge, were visiting the barracks. The Barracks took their pictures and gave them a framed copy of "Nuts!" Speech. Not a dry eye in the room.
