“Interesting and free”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Joel was our guide, and what a wonderful guide he was. We had a small group of 8 which was perfect and he gave us undivided attention. The museum is part of an active duty military post and the guides are active duty soldiers. Lots of personal stories about the Vets he has met who have come back over the years and being a local as well he has great passion for the area. Even if you are not a WWII buff you will find this interesting. Note that some signs say the first tour is at 0900 but the correct time is 1000. Parking is also free.

“Bastogne Barracks Tour was Great!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Michel gave a very informative and interesting tour. If you are in Bastogne this is a must see, my girlfriend was in attendance and is not a WWII history buff but she had a great time and learned a lot

“In a town full of attractions, this is the only one you NEED.”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We found this through TA, and thought, hell, why not? We have all done our fair share of museums, tours, trips etc. and it is possible to get a little jaded. No chance here. Our deepest thanks to Sgt Joel Denis for his courtesy, knowledge and unflagging enthusiasm. Two hours just disappeared, like, gone! A huge thank you to Belgium (feels odd thanking a state!) for doing this. Most museums are reasonably priced and I have no complaints there, but this is a gift to any visitors who are interested in the events of '44. The fact that no charge is levied is a bonus, hopefully this will continue.

I could wax lyrical but I'll spare you all. If you have the time, take this tour, I cannot conceive of a universe in which you would be dissappointed.

Joel, je vous remercie de votre temps et de courtoisie.

“Great tour...and it's FREE!”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

This was a fantastic tour led by a Belgium soldier. He told stories of what happened there, led us around the displays and allowed us to tour to our hearts content all of the amazing vehicles that the Barracks maintains. All for free. What an amazing experience!
