the hotel's position is not convenient to walk to the city centre which is 1km afar. however tram/bus lines connect it to both train stn and downtown (but it is not clear on web). I recommend 1st floor rooms, and 3rd floor is to be avoided. floors are in wood, quite noisy!!
B/F was regular, but with little fantasy and variety, on a fixed basis. It is ideal for couples over 50 (there is a 'still' atmosphere), but it lacks complimentary newspapers, a decent TV, luggage service, a working toaster (mishap!) or eggs made on command...
If in Gent again, I'd test Novotel (very central) or IBIS (central and economic). personnel is very mice, but limited,.. thus many standard services must be forgottenMore
