Very good B&B. Nice modern, design and clean room. Well furnished to the most little detail. Outsite a quit garden with swing and good furniture to relax and a GREAT service from the owner. He arranged a good breakfast at the time you request in the kitchen with a good Nespresso and he gave a lot of good advises for places to eat and things to do.

This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in! The room was more like a studio apartment and we could comfortably lived there for weeks. Everything about the place is ultra modern but we particularly loved the mood lighting in the bathroom. The owner could not have been more helpful and he made the whole experience perfect. The location is excellent for exploring the centre of Ghent. All in all a fabulous place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking from a very special place to stay.

I'm going to start with the positives (because there actually were many):
- The location is quite good. It is in a non-touristy neighborhood that is within an easy 5-10 minute walk to the city center. The street was quiet during the day and night, so we didn't worry about any noise in our room.
- It is also an easy 8 minute walk from the Gent Dampoort train station - so definitely get out there rather than at the St. Pieters stations (even though it's the main one).
- Ghent itself is really cool. There are tons of great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We ate and drank our way through town!
- Kurt (the owner of the B&B) communicated very well via email, but unfortunately was out of town while we were there. He left us some good recommendations and checked in on us via email, but it wasn't quite the same as having him present (especially because all of the other reviewers had such a good experience with his presence at the B&B).
- The B&B is clean and has a very "updated" feel. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We also liked the TV projector (though there are a lot of remotes to deal with!).

And now for why my boyfriend and I did not find this to be our best hotel/B&B experience:
The bathroom was kind of ridiculous. We were in the first floor, front room and the bathroom was definitely not the one shown in pictures on the website. The sink, toilet and shower are all in the same glass-encased "portal"...which means that the whole thing gets absolutely soaked when one person showers. The glass has a frosted stripe down the middle...but you can definitely tell when your partner is sitting on the toilet (which might not bother some people, but it just seemed strange and unnecessary). The lighting is also extremely dim due to the colored lights. It also took awhile for the bathroom to dry out, which left a bit of a musty smell in the room.

If we had stayed in one of the rooms we saw on the website (that has a separate shower room), our experience would have been very different. Definitely request that room if you choose to stay here!

Room Tip: Would not recommend the front room on the first floor!

Dear Guest,

We would like to thank you for your valuable feedback.

There are two things we would like to respond to.

We are very meticulous on correct information, and I would like to emphasize that, unlike you are suggesting, there is no place where we provide pictures that are different from reality.
This is really something we look after very carefully.
If you do think there are pictures that are not attached to the correct room, please let us know which ones and where.

Also we would have preferred that you contacted us when you were here, so we could have tried to solve your issues ad hoc.
We had at that time another room available, which we would have happily given to you.

We always try to deliver the best service possible, if for some reason, as a guest, you have a problem, no mather what, we are always there to help you out and to provide solutions for you.

Kind regards,

Kurt

First the Inn is a first rate place to stay without any qualifications. Second, I had a problem with a parking ticket and Kurt, went well beyond what any reasonable person would do remedy the problem.

Room Tip: There are only three rooms. I believe the one in the main building is superior but that is just a ma...

The Snooz Inn is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, a short and pleasant walk from a wide range of restaurants and the city centre. Our room was luxurious, spacious, and modern, and the breakfast was top-notch - wonderful pastries, yogourt and fruit, orange juice, breads, cheeses... etc. Kurt is a welcoming, obliging and thoroughly professional host. We stayed for 5 days, using it as a 'home base' to explore Ghent and do day trips by train to Brussels, Bruges, etc. I would highly recommend it to anyone doing the same.

Really lovely place with comfortable and well designed, high-tech rooms . Shower can also be a steam bath/room, and there's a projection TV. Nespresso/tea available any time. Fantastic breakfast with local jams, eggs, the works. Easy walk to the center - and walkable from the train station. Friendly, helpful host. We looked forward to coming back here to relax - it's just an unusually nice place - sheik and comfortable. Oh, and right by some fantastic restaurants.

This is definitely the best place we have stayed in Europe. Hidden down a nice quiet street but close walking distance to Ghent's centre. We have only been here one night but felt like I HAD to put a review on now because it has exceeded any expectation beyond belief. Kurt the owner is extremely hospitable and goes above and beyond to help with anything. We woke up this morning and had the most delicious breakfast of breads, cheese, spreads, jams, yoghurt and muesli and even had the options of egg also... Accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice. You would be absolutely crazy not to stay here as it ticks all the right boxes for a perfect holiday.
Thankyou from the Australians, Sarah and Doug.
