We sat in the garden at the back as all the tables out front were full. Garden just as nice. The menu is varied and there is something for all tastes. They had menus in all languages and slipped in to english as soon as they had identified our nationality. Our food was delicious and well prepared. The only reason we haven't given it excellent is because we were charged 2 euros for a tiny bottle of water when we asked for a glass of tap water. We hadn't come across this in any of the countries we trvelled in. Otherwise good place.

We came here late around 11am just when the crowds were easing out. Have to say we had the best breakfast while we were in Belgium. We had the eggs with salmon and and Egg white omelet. The best part was the waffles! It is must try if you're in Gent. Absolutely fantastic!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, speaking several languages and having menus in most common languages as well.
They have tables outside on the street and in a patio to the rear as well as inside. The décor is a little "fast-food"ish but clean and comfortable.
The service was excellent and the food also excellent. I had the waffles with cherries - predictable maybe, but delectable:) - with very good coffee, but please note, Mocha is NOT coffee with chocolate in Belgium, it is an espresso. My wife had a dish of fresh fruit and natural yoghurt which was also nicely presented and tasty.

We observed a number of different dishes being served and all were freshly prepared, well presented and plentiful.

In conclusion, not the cheapest but well worth it.

Their waffles were fine, but after spending €26 I feel like they should be willing to provide me a glass of tap water after the meal ended (I had already purchased €4 of water for the actual course).

Grumble grumble Europe grumble.

Hungry for a lunch we were looking for a place to eat (there are so many in Ghent :D) Although not very visible we found Agrea on a corner. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Also, the free wifi is handy. We had the sandwiches which we could choose are own fillings. And we had the famous Belgium waffle with whipcream and strawberry. Just yummy :D
