2nd visit to Ghent. First time at Novotel.
We had booked an executive room - which was on the top (4th) floor. Great views of the church and room width windows - lower floors seemed to have only a small window.
Sofa and a TV showing BBC1&2. Very handy for the centre of town. Room provides only paper cups - but we picked up 2 cheap mugs at the corner of the main square which is only 1 minute walk. We had our own tea/metal teaspoons .
Breakfast was very good - had fun making fresh waffles.
Didn't eat lunch or dinner there. Too many great places to eat within 2 minutes walk.
Did need a corkscrew and neither reception or the bar could provide. Overall a comfortable 4 days.
Would consider again - taking mugs and corkscrew! More
