Stayed here for as base for small conference along the road. A shairt taxi ride form the St Pierre railway station. Clean and smart althougfh a few roadworks outside and to an adjacent property did mean that there was a hop, skip and a jump to get in and out. Do not bring a car - no parking at hotel and no guarantee of any in immediate vicinity. Hotel is well situated in old town area with all key tourist destinations in easy reach. Rooms were reaonably spacious and we took one with a balcony looking into pleasant courtyard. Access to rooms was by means of a single elevator so a bit of a wait at times or a climb up cigarette smoke tainted stairs. Lack of drarwers and stirage space if you are staing for more than a couple of day. Great shower, plenty of room and designed well for the taller person.
Sevice excellent and very pleasant. Excellent buffet breakfast with wide reange of hot and cold, pastries, croissants etc. Food was excellent in teh evening. Absolutely no hestiation in going back to this hotel in future.

Room Tip: room with balcony overlooking garden were quiet

Couldn't recommend this place more. We had a beautifully decorated room that was very clean. The staff were very friendly, and the beer was even better.

I highly recommend the breakfast buffet, as well as checking out the spa - they even have epsom salt to bathe with.

We only stayed one night but will be back for many more.

This was a really lovely hotel and the staff were excellent, with great location, however we found that the 'disabled room' was not the best in terms of facilities.

Firstly, they only had deluxe rooms for disabled people, but we negotiated to pay a standard rate, as it's not fair to not provide the same options to a disabled person.

The room was nice, but the bed was quite near the wall, making it difficult for the wheelchair to get past the bed and into the area with the desk and chairs - it was a squeeze for my boyfriend's chair which is quite slimline, so for someone with a larger chair, they wouldn't have been able to get through.

The bathroom had a roll-in shower and a moveable shower chair. The shower chair was new, but wasn't the best design - the breaks didn't really hold steady and there's no way he could have been in the hotel on his own to use the shower. It's always preferable to have a showerchair attached to the wall. The grab rail in the shower was a tiny metal that looked nice but was not practical and wasn't actually very near the shower to be able to hold onto! Also, there were no emergency cords anywhere.

On the plus side the grab rail by the toilet was good, and also the sink was accessible.

Room Tip: Not great for facilities in disabled rooms.

Although this hotel had a lot going for it, there are obvious management issues that made my stay somewhat uncomfortable. On one day, I left the hotel at 8:00 AM for a day trip to Bruges. When I returned to the hotel at 5:30, I found my room unmade. It was evidently forgotten. Management corrected the issue promptly while I vacated the room for 20 minutes so that it could be cleaned. I found this extremely inconvenient after a long day. On another day, at one of the two lobby bars, my partner and I ordered a glass of wine and a martini and were told by the bartender that we should go to the other bar because he was busy making cocktails and there would be an excessive wait. We were also asked, in a manner that was looooong on attitude, if we were aware that the bar was a cocktail bar not stocking wine. We moved to the other bar and reordered, only to find that the martini would be delivered by Mr. Personality from the other bar himself. The entire ordeal took about twenty minutes. On the positive side, the buffet breakfast was very good.

Stayed for 4 nights on a business trip. The Hotel is beautiful in style and in a very good, quiet location. Superb rooms. Spacious (had a room with a balcony which was super). the room was immaculate, clean and well equipped. Simple breakfast but ticked all the boxes with some great healthy options as well. Bar service was great, beautiful garden for late evening drinks. Staff were very accommodating. This is the new style of Hotels that are developing across Europe - boutique with good and unique service - why go chain Hotels when you can stay here?
Well done on a great stay - will be back.

Room Tip: Try for a room with a balcony overlooking the garden.

Beautifully restored home into hotel. Loved all the architectural details and the interesting interior design of this Belgium chain hotel. Our room was located in the original house with high ceilings and a view of the garden. Was concerend we might experience garden nosie or from outside of our room because we were near an elevator, however, all was quiet. Rooms were modern and the sparse decorations were appreciated. Missed not having a towel warmer! We like our wash cloths and they are not standard offering. However, when we requested, they were available. Needs a trash can in the bathroom. Hard surface floors so definitely used the slipplers provided. Staff was professional, but not overly customer service oriented. Reception desk acted as reception and concierge and they were very busy! We were struggling to find vegan dinner dining options due to the August holiday. Many restaurants were closed. The hotel dining room accomodated us and we were not disappointed.
