My first impression of the room was that perhaps it looked a tiny bit shabby, but it was ok because we were here for my husband's business trip hence his company was paying for it. Knowing how much the room costed, I probably would have minded a lot more if it came out of my pocket.
It was quite clean, and we certainly did not have the mosquito problem that seemed to occur to other people.
Breakfast was good, but the 'hot' food wasn't great - consisted of congealed scrambled egg left in a bain-marie for goodness knows how long.
I thought the service was pretty terrible. I came in and out of the hotel a few times with a stroller. The door that led to the main foyer had a few steps up leading to a heavy door. The reception desk was a whole two steps away from this door - however the lady behind it did not feel obliged to help me with the door at all, despite not looking like she is doing much, and at other times just chatting to another colleague.More
