Stayed at hotel on night of 16 November with group of work colleagues on a weekend away. Hotel check in was quick efficient, and the reception staff were friendly. Room was clean, bright and spacious, but cold even with the heating on. We had reserved a double room and expected a double bed, but what we got was two uncomfortable single beds on rollers pushed as every time me and hubby moved the beds rolled apart. Was not impressed as this was suppose to be a 4 star hotel!

This hotel is a combination of old and new.... The rooms look like they were re-furbished quite recently but the bathrooms were still in the old style. So not too sure what to make of it. In any case, the hotel was comfortable and the rooms of average size. Note that there is a tram station in front of the hotel so going in to the city centre is easy. Parking stuation is that parking is on street and its free overnight.

Room Tip: Note that if you have a lot to carry and are using a trolley, you might note that there are stairs a...

It is a clean calm hotel. Room service are very good. i recommend to use for further trips. Only one thing is bad is the doors opening and closing is a bit noisy. Overall everything is very good in the hotel.

We like NH Hotels and stayed last time at the Centrum. Because this wasn't available and for the convenience of being near the station (about 7 minutes walk) we stayed here for five nights, visiting both Bruges and Antwerp. The downside of the location is that rooms on the main street are noisy, hence the downgrade of sleep quality. Also the most attractive restaurants etc are in the Old Town though the excellent tram service means that this is only a minor disadvantage. The Fine Arts Museum is only a walk (longish but pleasant) away so another plus. Having to log on to the free (lounges only) each day a minor but surely unnecessary nuisance.

Tucked just 5 min from the tram and train links. The hotel has parking nearby and seems to be in a nice neighbourhood. The hotel is spotless through out the rooms I had a suite with large bath and lovely shower over. Good breakfast with some hot food. Free coffee and cakes until 11 for those not wanting breakfast....nice touch.....free wi fi which is provided by Swisscom and can be slow. A premium service is offered if you wish. Plenty of English speaking channels on the tv.they do charge extra for the parking.

Good quality hotel as one can expect from NH. The location is maybe not the best in Ghent. The hotel is somewhat removed from the old city centre so if you want to visit it may be somewhat of a hassle, butthe is a tram stop near the hotel so not that much trouble. The parking is open (and is not included in room price), and around the corner so don't leave valuables in the car. Breakfast is good with a fair selection. The hotel does not have a restaurant associated with it and there is not a great place close by so eat before you arrive.
In conclusion, not a bad hotel, but if you have a car rather go to the NH Belfort (10 EUR extra per night). It's in the city centre, close to restaurants and also has a restaurant.

My girlfriend and I booked for one night at NH Gent Belfort but we were transferred to NH Gent Sint Pieters due to overbooking. Since NH Gent Sint Pieters is located out of the city center and is a bit older than NH Gent Belfort, I asked for a complementary breakfast and parking in the center of Gent as compensation, which was no problem for NH.

NH Gent Sint Pieters is not a very new hotel but it is well maintained and still classy. It is still worth its 4 stars in my opinion. The room was very clean and large enough. I did have a bit of street noise, even though I was at the back side of the hotel, due to a truck unloading in the middle of the night. The bed was quite soft but I prefer a hard mattress. We had a standard two-person bed, but two separate mattresses and two separate blankets, I would have preferred a single two-person mattress and blanket. Apparently the hotel provides a service were you can choose what kind of pillow you want from a selection of different pillows, but I did not make use of it. The bathroom was nice, but the toilet is placed in a tiny corner of the room, which really makes it quite uncomfortable to use it. The staff were very friendly.

Overall I had a good stay for a decent price (especially with the free breakfast and parking) and I will certainly consider staying in an NH hotel again if I get the chance.
