There are 2 parts to this place. One is open early morning (it is trust me, you just have to open the door) it doesn't look open, but we were determined. The other is more formal, maybe afternoon evening, I cannot comment on that.
For B/fast it is great, a typical European B/Fast, as big or small as you want it. There is even the local at the bar drinking Stella at 8:00 am!
We had 2 B/fasts there, one after a particularly hard night on Belgian beer & it got me off to a great start.
The barman doesn't speak english, my French (not his first language) is barely passable, but we managed to get 2 great B/fasts & even logged onto the wifi (wyfy). Stephanie is the one who speaks english & was called into action a number of times, but in all we managed alone, happily.
This is a restaurant at least sponsored, if not owned by Leffe. The place is like a shrine to the popular beverage. There is even a visible cellar stocked with bottles of the beer.
It is a short walk from the Novatel & looks out onto a lawn & the St Nicholas Church & bell. A life saver on at lest one occasion!
