“Cute little place”
Reviewed 16 December 2013

During our walk in town we arrived at this part of the city. Little houses that go back in time, nice and quiet.

“Back in time”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

If you like old architecture, narrow but cosy streets and a vast amount of little shops and restaurants, than this is the place to be in Ghent.
Many of the buildings here are historically preserved which results in a special feeling of going back in time when walking here. When taking a walk over here you always end up finding something new or discovering unknown places. Best time to visit is on a warm evenings in spring or summer, but even besides those it can be wonderful to relax by the waterside, admiring the beauty of the Patershol.

“Best food ever”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

Loved walking through the cobbbled streets and finding intertsing places to eat that would just pop out! The streets were very hard on the feet though, specially on stilllettos that i wore once for a dressy dinner!

“Interesting district”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

We stayed in this interesting district, which is within walking distance to the City Centre and places of interest, yet a quiet location to stay. Lots of back alleys and side streets with hidden gems of restaurants to discover.

“Interesting to wander through”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

We wandered through the Patershol area and found it pleasant enough but fairly deserted. There did seem to be a lot of restaurants in the area with interesting menus but we only stopped for a drink and not a meal.
